Try the Red Cross. I have heard that they will often help find people in the case of family emergency or illness. Did you check with the Social Security office? If he is receiving Social Security, they will have an address, or at least a town, where his Social Security checks are being deposited. Good luck. If he is living, he may be in Eugene, Oregon. Since our mother's death in 1996, he hasn't been good about keeping in touch with the family. He is from Georgia and that is where I am. He also hikes trails for months at a time. On last contact in 2001, he was going to Alaska to work on fishing boats for the summer. Then he was going to go back to Eugene or the trails. If anyone knows where he is or has had any contact with him, please help me. I know this is a long shot and I have tried different things to find him with no luck. There have been deaths in the family and other important information he needs to know about and we want to know if he is alive (not in the SSDI currently). I have more detailed information about him and the circumstances, if you think you may know him. His name is Richard Riggs and he is in his early 60's, but looks younger.
