    1. [RIGGS-L] Re: Rogers Co. OK cemeteries

    3. I have a mystery Riggs I am trying to locate more information on. I don't know for sure which Riggs this is. I need help. There is a Riggs Cemetery in Rogers Co., called Riggs Cemetery #3, that has a lot of Sullivans buried in it, but if there are Riggs, their graves may not be marked; and then there is one with no name just a location: Sec. 26, R15E, T22N, 6 miles south of Oolagah, Rogers Co., that has Rose E. Riggs, 1865-1901. She is there with two small infants of the Riggs name, Joseph B.H., and Ethel F Riggs. There is a Gillis infant 1888-1891. And there are Busters buried there, several children, one twenty year old, a James Buster, and a James Buster at age 71 when he died. No dates given for him. Who did Rose E. (?) Riggs marry? Was Rose E. a Riggs before marriage, or a Gillis or a Buster? Do you know that if you put the name James Buster in Ancestry.com that you will come up with a wife for him named Lucy Sullivan Younger? Does anyone out there very wise in knowledge of the Younger and Dalton outlaw gangs know of any connection between them and the Busters and Riggs? I have looked at some sites for outlaws on the above mentioned, but so far have not found a Riggs or Buster connection other than the one I mentioned above. It looks like there must be a connection, to have these different people all buried in the same cemetery. And for the Sullivans in Riggs Cemetery #3, the name is found several times in the Younger family names. Does anyone have any idea who the infant Hattie B. Gillis 1888-1891 might have belonged to? Just a very Curious Thing. Sue ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today!
