    3. Hey List, I am looking for a William Riggs born about 1760-1770 maybe Bedford or Jefferson Co., TN, or he could have been born in SC; I don't know who he married, but one of his sons may have been Samuel Riggs born in 1796. Samuel Riggs witnessed a will written by William Riggs, and it was probated 3 Jan/Jun 1828 Ray County, MO I believe. Has anyone access to the works "MIssouri PIoneers"? I believe this was found in Vol 8, p. 49; ( from Book A, p. 40.) There is evidence to support our Samuel Riggs moving around with his inlaws, the Splawns, as they moved from Tn to MO. Possibly Samuel's father, William, (or he may have been a brother, or an uncle) moved right along with them first into Chariton Co., MO, then on up the Missouri River to Ray County, which I understand was broken up to make Daviess and Caldwell Counties. He is found in Saline County, MO and Daviess, Ray and Caldwell Counties. Wife Sebrina is later found in Grundy County, MO. She is living next door to her brother, Isaac Splawn 1880 census. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Sue ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less!
