Teresa, I was thrilled to hear from you. Both of my grandparents were Riggs- Minerva Josephine was daughter of Alfred Riggs and Hannah-- , Alfred was the oldest son of William, and grandson of Reuben, born 1747. I am not as sure of Alfred Washington, but believe he was son of William R., son of William & grandson of Reuben. If this is correct my grandparents were first cousins. I would be so happy to exchange information with you and believe it may be helpful to both of us. After looking over Reuben R.s family group sheet, I realized, the name Taylor came from his wife Sallie Taylor. I have nine children for them, is that correct.?
