    2. Harriette: I would like a copy of the Account Records. If Jim has information about a Ray Riggs in Austin, TX, I think that he is the the grandson of Silas Riggs, who had a brother Zadock Riggs, both of whom came to Missouri in early 1800's with their father Zadock Riggs via KY from TN. They settled here in mid-Missouri---the Zadocks in Boone County and are buried in the Red Top Church near Hallsville, MO and Silas settled in Callaway County and he and his wife and other relatives are buried in a Riggs cemetery in nothern Boone County. Ray was born in Callaway County and moved to Austin, TX. I tried to contact him, but I was told he is dead and that his son still lives in Austin. The older Zadock was one of the mix of brothers that went to TN from NC and is connected to Edward. Let me know how much I owe for the NC copies. Thanks, Hank Riggs

    3. I believe this is an offshoot of my Riggs line from Surry Co., NC (or thereabouts.) My ancestor Lott Riggs had brothers named Silas and Zadoc. Their father was Samuel Riggs. The westward movement was very common. I can't remember off the top of my head who sent a copy of Samuel Riggs's will. Oh, I just found it: Bobby Carwile, BGCarwile@aol.com Really interesting. 3. After re-reading your message it may be that this Silas and Zadock are grandsons of my ancestor Samuel Riggs. Samuel Riggs's will is dated 1800. Sorry.
