Sue, Your Samuel still does not fit into my Riggs records. If he does have anything to do with the NJ Riggs family, they do not connect to my family. I do have a few Riggs in the early part of my tree that seemed to disappear. It is thought that they probably moved into Maryland, and North Carolina, but so far I have not come up with any definite links. Over the years people have published small parts of my family's line on the internet, some of which include wrong information to my horror. I am working with others of the same Riggs blood line in constructing our family tree. I had the idea to form a private "RiggsCousin's Club" for all those that could provide proof that they were of the same Riggs blood line. Private because our Riggs tree contains personal details of living generations. That is why I am pleased to do look ups for people, but not publish the tree on any internet site. Of cause if anyone is found to connect, they get contact details of all the other club members and a GEDCOM file (a Family Tree Maker software file) of the family tree which includes all know details, some of which are in the form of notes.
