I have a Samuel Riggs born 1796 maybe TN or KY; died 1842 in MO; married Sebrina Splawn. I can find no parents for him, but some others of the same Splawn family married into the Riggs line of Timothy Riggs of New Jersey. It sure makes me wonder if he didn't belong to that same line, right in there somewhere. I just can't make the connection.
