RIGGS, age 82 of Granite Shoals, Texas, died on Monday, Dec. 29, 1997. He was born on May 23, 1915 in Bell County, Texas, to David F. Riggs and Mary Ellen (Shifflett) Riggs. He had served in the United States Air Force and retired from Greyhound Bus Line. Survivors include a loving companion, Dorothy Schneider of Granite Shoals, TX; sister, Lois Brune of Kingsland, TX; niece, Jo Allen Shifflett and husband Tommy of Marble Falls, TX; and nephew, David Brune and wife Marsha of Marble Falls, TX; 1 great niece and 4 great nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. at the Edgar Funeral Home with Bro. Max Copeland officiating with burial in the Marble Falls City Cemetery.
