Still there in '67 and married to Kimble HANSEN. DOC: History of Bandera County Vol II P. 392. Married 1) Kenneth Morris. Letter from Rosemary Riggs 6/25/67 states "in poor health" living in CA md to Kimble Hansen. Stated that Eva was abt 70 at that time ('67). We have been looking for this Riggs line for some time and can only get to Thomas And Rhoda Casey. If we have anything that you could use, let us know. Thad Greer, AZ

    1. [RIGGS-L] Tombstone in New Hope Cemetery
    2. I realize this is a long shot but thought I'd go ahead and send it. One cemetery researcher says, regarding the tombstone of Elizabeth TUCKER: The shape of the stone and the inscription thereon lead one to believe Elizabeth TUCKER may have been a daughter of Jesse and Rachel RIGGS. Her tombstone reads, "Elizabeth Tucker, the wife of Laban E. Tucker. She was born April 15, 1803, married June 8, 1828, and deceased March 31, 1829. Aged 25 years, 11months & 16 days and with her sleeps an infant daughter, their only child." She would fit between Jesse RIGGS (1802) and Lavina RIGGS (1804), children of Old Jesse and Rachel RIGGS. If anyone has researched this, I would appreciate any information. I don't know the name of the researcher. Jimmie Lou CLENDENNEN

    2. Mildred Wilson
    3. Teresa, I was thrilled to hear from you. Both of my grandparents were Riggs- Minerva Josephine was daughter of Alfred Riggs and Hannah-- , Alfred was the oldest son of William, and grandson of Reuben, born 1747. I am not as sure of Alfred Washington, but believe he was son of William R., son of William & grandson of Reuben. If this is correct my grandparents were first cousins. I would be so happy to exchange information with you and believe it may be helpful to both of us. After looking over Reuben R.s family group sheet, I realized, the name Taylor came from his wife Sallie Taylor. I have nine children for them, is that correct.? I also have a family group sheet on James and Jincey. Will look forward to hearing from you. Thank you so much for writing and hope to hear from you again.
