Do you know if there is a connection between John Riggs Of Onslow County and William Riggs who Married a Katy Pate in 1794. William Riggs was in Beaufort county in 1800. He mawas married in Craven. A john Riggs was his neighbor in 1800. In 1840 there was a Noah , Isaac and a Nehemiah Riggs in Craven. There appears to be some ties to Pasqutant county also. It looks like John joine the Rev. War effort from Pasqutant. Nehemiah Riggs migrated to Pasqutant between 1850-1860. Edward Riggs from Craven also migrated to Pasqutant abt 1900. Does these names ring a bell to you. I believe Noah Riggs in Craven 1n 1840 might be my gggrandfather. I am at a dead end and need to connect with other Riggs families that might share common ancesters. Jim H and Mississippi County List I rechecked both census and I did make a mistake for the age of Robert F Riggs in the 1930 Arkansas, Mississippi County census his age should read 42 not 22. The others are as they read. Not sure where the census taker got his info because we know that in the 1930 census they have him as a daughter and we know he was a male.Tom thanks for getting me right . I cannot find them in the 1920 census. As for where in Tennessee was Robert F. Born and who were his parents?. Sorry but the only info we have is what I sent. We got it from Cemetery stones, census records and his Grandson Huey Montgomery, not from his Nephew Huey as I had in the other E-Mail .
