Your Clisby Evans Riggs must be the one b in 1798, is that correct? The John Washington RIGGS I have been searching for was b 1795 and is a brother to your Clisby Evans. I ran across a post just recently whereas another John Washington RIGGS is mentioned and they claim that this John was b in 1840 There are so many John's and Clisby's that it almost makes your head swim. The person that mentions the John Washington Riggs b 1840 is a brand new researcher and if there is anything I can do to help them I would really be happy to do that. Do you know if your Riggs ancesters came from TN? I have been looking for Dr Asa Riggs, father of Phoebe Riggs, born about 1769 in Tn, Phoebe Riggs married Frazier Brindley about 1793 or 94.
