    2. I am interested in your "More About the Riggs" which brings your Tennessee Riggs up to date. We are stuck on Thomas 1802 of Kentucky or Tennessee. Perhaps there would be something in there. How can I get hold of a copy? Thad, AZ

Listed as a W M age 24, Boarder, Store Keeper, Born AL, mother and father b AL. I thought at first this was a James RIGGS I was looking for but the age calculates as 1856 and the James I have was born 1865 and was not born in AL. Good luck. Wanda RIGGS Ketelhut

I have been trying to look for the family of my GGrandmother Lillian Childs who married Ernest Nordon and moved to the United States. Within the last three weeks I have found she had a sister, Mrs. Joseph Riggs. Her husband is probably your Grandfather. My Mrs. Joseph Riggs was probably named Daisy (not sure if it was first name or middle name). She had a son George that went to stay with his aunt, my GGrandmother, in Lawrence, Massachusetts for awhile. Are you the grandson of my GG Aunt? If so, I would love to correspond. I have had a terrible time trying to find anything out about this branch of my family. Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Carol Johnson

    2. The fact that the Co was McMImm makes me think they were related. Stephen Brindley died there about 1840. Asa Riggs Brindley and family moved back to Mcminn Co . Was listed there in 1830. Then came back to Cherokee Co Al. after Stephen died. HBrindley
