There are about ten Ellis burials in between to Coventry graveyards. Send me a list with any known names dates, etc. I usually charge one (1) cup of black coffee.. Dear Charlie: I wonder if there is a Hannah (Edwards) ELLIS among those you mention in Coventry graveyards. I am looking for my ggg grandfather, Christopher ELLIS's parents. He is in a graveyard in Milford, Otsego Co., NY so his grave is not in RI. But his mother might be Hannah (Edwards) ELLIS who was married to Nicholas ELLIS, Jr. She isn't included in the 1800 U.S. Federal census in Stephen, Rennselaer Co., NY, the place Nicholas moved to sometime between 1790 and 1800. She appears to be included in the 1790 census in Coventry, Kent Co., RI, so she may have died in Coventry, RI before the move to NY. I would appreciate very much if you could look for Hannah (Edwards) ELLIS in those Coventry graveyards. Her father was Nicholas EDWARDS. Thanks very much for your offer of help. Really do wish I could give you that cup of black coffee. That's the way I drink my coffee, too. Sugar and cream spoil the good coffee flavor.
