Providence Journal-Providence, R.I. Date: Mar 16, 1987 PROVIDENCE --- Margaret G. Butler, 79, formerly of the Regency Apartments, a secretary at the Providence post office for 27 years, retiring 16 years ago, died Saturday at Waterview Villa Nursing Home, East Providence. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Jane (Doyle) Butler. Miss Butler previously had been a teacher in the Providence public school system. She was a graduate of the former Rhode Island Normal School in 1926 and a graduate of the former Bryant Stratton College in 1938. She was a member of the St. Xavier's Alumni Association. She leaves several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Funeral Home of T.F. Monahan and Son, 230 Waterman St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at Sacred Heart Church, Taunton Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
