I'm not sure which one you're looking for, but the one of the first 25 years of RHODE ISLAND ROOTS is available again or soon will be, from RIGS, P.O. Box 433, Greenville, RI 02828. It was out of print for a while. I think someone else gave you the website. The Beaman disk, with the full run of RHODE ISLAND GENEALOGICAL REGISTER on it, should be available from Ancestry or other vendors who sell their disks. Jane
Jane, Here is the link to their website, they do list the CD as being available http://www.rigensoc.org/index.htm I guess I sound too strict about posting of web sites that sells genealogy information/products, I apologize for that I have no problem with posting of the various genealogy societies sites, my objection is to the posting of private web sites requiring fees for genealogy information which usually can be found free somewhere on the internet One good example is that there is one person I know of who sells information that he copies from the usgenweb archives, he insists that he is not selling the information but is charging fees to send copies of the information to whoever wants it(?) Thank you, Arlan! It really is getting confusing, with so many old books available on the net or on CDs. And since Ancestry hosts Rootsweb (I think), the whole situation can be murky!
