    3. Hi! It has come to my attention of a History & Culture Fair which will be the Second Annual one of The Mashantucket Pequot & Research Center to be held Saturday,October 20,2007; from 10 AM to 3 PM,.This is behind the Foxwoods Casino. The event is free and open to the public. The main focus is on Eastern Connecticut and Western Rhode Island but participants from the greater Southern New England area are encouraged to participate. They actually encourage groups to bring items to sell, have tables for displays and the materials of groups,if you belong to an organization that may want to participate contact David Naumec at [email protected] ,. This event includes historical and genealogical emphasis so it would appear family associations, hereditary groups such as DAR,Mayflower Society,as well as historical associations, and museums who can may want to consider participating.I know some, perhaps most, have been contacted in our two state area. I am sharing through "Bcc:" with Mr.Naumec. I used a mailing for information on this event.I did not include everything.FYI! Regards, Scott Bill Hirst Scott Bill Hirst 20 Maple Court Ashaway,RI 02804-1301 USA (401)377-4643 Note:Telephone if you need quick reply.

    3. Scott, Could you expand this invitation to the RI Advisory Commission on Historical Cemeteries. If you've been following the news in No. Smithfield, Edna Kent, you are aware of the interaction between developers and Native American as well as Colonial grave sites. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Bill Hirst" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 13, 2007 12:48 PM Subject: [RIGENWEB] 2007 History & Culture Fair > Hi! > It has come to my attention of a History & > Culture Fair which will be the Second Annual one > of The Mashantucket Pequot & Research Center to > be held Saturday,October 20,2007; from 10 AM to 3 > PM,.This is behind the Foxwoods Casino. The event > is free and open to the public. The main focus is > on Eastern Connecticut and Western Rhode Island > but participants from the greater Southern New > England area are encouraged to participate. > They actually encourage groups to bring items to > sell, have tables for displays and the materials > of groups,if you belong to an organization that > may want to participate contact David Naumec at > [email protected] ,. > This event includes historical and genealogical > emphasis so it would appear family > associations, hereditary groups such as > DAR,Mayflower Society,as well as historical > associations, and museums who can may want to > consider participating.I know some, perhaps most, > have been contacted in our two state area. > I am sharing through "Bcc:" with Mr.Naumec. > I used a mailing for information on this event.I > did not include everything.FYI! > Regards, > Scott Bill Hirst > > > > Scott Bill Hirst > 20 Maple Court > Ashaway,RI 02804-1301 USA > (401)377-4643 > Note:Telephone if you need quick reply. > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message
