To join NEHGS go to this web page. http://www.newenglandancestors.org/membership/levels/ if you want information on research services there is a link with lots of information on the Main page at www.newenglandancestors.org I have also used research services and their copying service. I send them $65.00 for an hours work on a specific person and got back a full report with all the sources they used and copies of pertinent data. While they didn't find my specific person, they gave me a lot of ideas for further research and send a full record of sources they checked so I would not duplicate the work. I used the copying service for copies of probate records that I found listed in an index that was pubished in another on line database. NEHGS had the original records on microfilm so they copies the pages I wanted and mailed to me. For $75 I think you will be very pleased with the investment. I have only been back East to the library once, but during that afternoon was able to view Massachusetts birth records for my paternal grandmother and starting there, went back and found the records I needed to prove her line to Governor William Bradford. With that data I was able to later expand the research and fill out a lineage society application for the Alden Kindred. I couldn't have been happier that day! Sandy in Colorado.
