Hi Nina----I have switched off of my Braman research for a while. I am back to studying JACOB BRIGGS a soldier in the Continental Army. He enlisted sometime in 1777 at SK, RI. I found him in 1790 in Hopkinton, but is he listed in the 1777 census? I wonder. Thanks if you can look it up. (There were 3 other Jacob Briggs in the Revol. There is no JACOB BRIGGS listed in the 1777 Military Census of Rhode Island. Only Job, John, Jonthan, and Joseph listed under the letter J.
