Hello everyone, I am searching for my husbands biological father. My husband was not adopted, however, his mother and father never married. His father kept in cantact with him till he was about 8 years old then they lost contact. Here is the info I have for him. Name: Anthony Cabral Lewis Jones Born: Possibly in Providence, RI approx. in 1953 give or take a couple of years. Married: He did marry and had at least 1 boy named Justin. Military: Was in the Marine Corps in 1970-1972. Served in Vietnam. Stationed at Eltoro Marine Corps Air Station. Medically Dischared for a shattered foot. Ok that is all that I have on this man. I do not know where to look for him. I have tried simple searches but do not have access to deep searches, like census and military. Any help would be tremendously awesome. Oh I might add that I am not sure he is still alive, my husband has not heard from him in 25 years. I also might add that we are not neccessarily trying to find him but I would like to help my husband find his roots and we know nothing more about the first link, not even parents names (for his father). Jodi, If you know that his father married and had at least 1 son, have you been able to locate the wife or son? What we have in genealogy, is, mostly before I was born, and I am not that old. <g> Have you tried to locate the info on his mother, where she lived, where she was born, what was her name? That might help a lot. You will have to dig up more information for anyone to help you, as this info your giving us is to recent. Bonnie

This might be the same Anthony that was in your other message. . Also - if you go to www.stevemorse.org, and scroll down to the section called births, deaths, and other vital records, there are a few different search sites you can use.
