His father kept in cantact with him till he was about 8 years old then they lost contact. Here is the info I have for him. Name: Anthony Cabral Lewis Jones Born: Possibly in Providence, RI approx. in 1953 give or take a couple of years. Married: He did marry and had at least 1 boy named Justin. Military: Was in the Marine Corps in 1970-1972. Served in Vietnam. Stationed at Eltoro Marine Corps Air Station. Medically Dischared for a shattered foot. Ok that is all that I have on this man. I do not know where to look for him. I have tried simple searches but do not have access to deep searches, like census and military. Any help would be tremendously awesome. Oh I might add that I am not sure he is still alive, my husband has not heard from him in 25 years. I also might add that we are not neccessarily trying to find him but I would like to help my husband find his roots and we know nothing more about the first link, not even parents names (for his father). If he is alive you may not access his military records, but if he has died you may obtain copies of his records at NARA. Since the latest census record open to the public is the 1930 records you will not find him there. What we have in genealogy, is, mostly before I was born, and I am not that old. Have you tried to locate the info on his mother, where she lived, where she was born, what was her name? Hi Jodi I just went to white pages and there is a Tony C. Jones listed in Coventry. There is also an Unlisted Anthony living in Providence. The number for Coventry is 401 821 6919, 326 Arnold Rd. The one in Providence is the right age, 54. You would have to pay a fee to get his number. Bonnie
