On Monday , 3 April after repairing a large stone at Brayton Cem. in Apponaug, R.I. Another volunteer and I uncovered a horizontal slab stone for Minnie H. Gardner 1873 - 1967 "Mother". This stone was not found for the Sterling book and she is not listed in the GenWeb Cemetery Project. However a new stone was placed nearby by a family member but bears the dates 1872 - 1966. The original stone has been cleared of grass and sod. Dave Matteson
