I live out of state, but I found the Archives to be so full of wonderful info that I just park and walk the 2 blocks. There are only 3-4 streets in that immediate area of Providence so you can get very lost. Now I agree with you on driving it as the traffic is heavy and it does get confusing. Just had to put my 2 cents in as I think the Archivces is a real treasure.l The library near that has old directories which are useful also . I am in R.I., now and parked and walked just yesterday, but not to genealogy places as I am with a friend. Once she leaves I'll be back at my usual haunts. Nancy MacKay Hattox San Diego.
