Last night I saw the History Channel's Massacre at Mystic, one of the Ten Days that Unexpectedly Changed America series. It gave a full treatment of Indian trade routes and relationships between the Pequots and the Narragansetts. It will surely repeat and I recommend watching it. It also explains the dispersion of the Indian peoples for many generations, and their subsequent return to their lands, which might help in genealogy. Happy Passover and Easter to everyone, Robin Young
Thanks for the heads-up, Robin! It sounds like a fascinating program. According to the History Channel's website, the program will be repeated on Friday, April 14 at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15 at 12:00 a.m., and Saturday, April 15 at 4:00 p.m. All times are Eastern Standard.
