    3. Hi Frank - Ancestry has some directories for Central Falls, but there is a big gap. It jumps from 1896 to 1906. In 1906 Rose is listed as widow of Edouard, so at least that narrows it down to 1900 - 1905/1906. The Pawtucket Public library has a full run of the directories. I don't know if they do lookups there or? but you could give them a call. I'd like to get to the library in the next couple of months. I'll add this to my to do list, or maybe someone will be going there sooner. Have you found where Rose is buried? The catholic cemeteries are not completely included in the RI Database. Did you call Notre Dame in Pawtucket? They are very helpful, and they are the only cem that can look up your people without a death date. Another cemetery in Central Falls is Moshassuck 978 Lonsdale Ave Central Falls, RI 02863 (401) 723-1087? You could also try the State Archives for a death cert. I think they can work with a 5 year time frame, or again, if someone is going there maybe they can check for you. Finally, there is a database called America's Historical Newspapers, 1690-1922 I can only see the index of articles with my Boston Public library access, but I looked for Edouard there and did not find him. I don't know how complete the Pawtucket paper is. If you are on the Quebec Research list, ask there if someone has the book "Franco-American Burials of RI" published by Quintin. Lisa llepore@comcast.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "Frank Patnaude" F.Patnaude@comcast.net Linda, Thank you for the information. All I know is Edouard was in the 1900 census and not in the 1910 but his wife was. So he died between 1900 and 1910. That is all I have. I wish there was more. WE are not even sure who his parents are. We are guessing at this time. I do not know what cemetery he is buried in. Most of my Patenaude/Patnaude relatives are buried in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket and this is where lived. I checked the RI cemetery database and came up with nothing. I checked the RI tombstone and again nothing. It is very frustrating to live so far away. Many of my immediate family are buried in St Ann's and I have not been there since my father died in Korea in 1952. Thanks, Frank

    3. Lisa, Thank you for all of the great information. I will call Notre Dame Cemetery as my cousin Barbara is the secretary there. This is great. I will get back with you when I find something. 3. Frank - I haven't called Notre Dame in quite a few years, but I've always gotten great help from them. Has Barbara worked there for a long time? If so, she is probably the helpful woman who answered all my questions :-) By the way - there are about 60 items for Patenaude in the Pawtucket Times at that America's Historical Newspapers, 1690-1922 Even if you don't have a subscription, you can see a small section of each article at www.genealogybank.com enough to maybe tell if they are your family.
