Evening Judy, Thanks for the info.  I live in RI and have been to the AFGS.  I was excited when they purchased the church building they are located in and I wish I had the time to volunteer and take part in the work going on to make the church truly "home".  The most we've been able to do is support the building fund with contibutions in memory of some of our ancestors. Unfortunately, the AFGS doesn't do research questions for folks.  A personal visit is required for research so I didn't mention the AFGS in my post reply.  Buying the Notre Dame book was suggested in another reply but that can be costly unless you happen to catch a sale when they are replacing some books.  Then you can buy  whatever books are available fairly reasonably.  The soft covers are usually very reasonable $ 10 - 20.  Even the hard covers aren't too far out of reach. I just checked the site and right now they are selling some used books including the Notre Dame for $20 which is was a BMD certificate now costs in RI so not a bad deal at all.  I think I will post that info, maybe Madeline might be interested given the price especially if the family stayed in the area and their children might have also married in Notre Dame.
