Hi Jayne, I went through my CD's on NY and could only find what you already have. When I checked my own records, the Ellis family all lived in Norfolk, MA. (Medfield, Wrentham). When I did another check on Arnold's VR there are a few Ellis's in E. Greewich, that might include some of Nicholas's children. There was only one recorded in Coventry, Polly Ellis m John Whitford, 1 Mar 1827. Charles S. Ellis, of Coventry, m Lydia Ann Nichols, of E.G. 3 Oct 1839 There was an Ellis's that could have fathered Nicholas. Benjamin Ellis of Warwick, son of Theophilus and Mercy Nichols of E.G. daughter of Thomas, m 3 Jan. 1736/7 Of course, this is all guesswork, but I do know how you feel.
