    3. I have a relative that was scalped in the war, his wife was a grand daughter of Thomas Rogers, Pilgrim. When N. Philbrick was at the Little Compton Historical Society he commented on the second generation of colonials and how their initial spirit of cooperation and camaraderie ended with the desire of the English to take possession of the Land.
