Could have been either, the image was good but the handwriting was not. I do so appreciate knowing Georgiaville is still out there and the fact that it is part of Smithfield was fabulous to know since one record on my ancestor states that he was born in N. Smithfield. Another said Slatersville which could all be the same place as far as I know. His obit however said he was born in Bristol, RI which puts a new wrinkle in the mix but hopefully the more contemporary records he or his living wife may have filled out for their children's birth records are more "correct" than that Obit filled out by a daughter many years later. > Sandy, > Do you mean Georgiaville and not Georgeville?
