Hi Susan, I am not descended from either family that I know of, but if you have not checked out common sources such as Arnold's Vital Records or Beaman's New Series, RI Vital Records, those would be good places to start. If you live nearby, a visit to the Foster town hall would probably be very helpful, depending on how far back you have the lines. Also, the RI Historical Society library on Hope St in Providence is a wonderful resource if you live in this area. This board is also very helpful.
