There is an index to Providence Probate online through NEHGS for members. If a case number is found, then you must request a copy from Providence City Clerk or Rhode Island Hiatorical Society. Rhode Island is different in that the probate records are held by the City or Town rather than the county court system. Who are you looking for? I could check to see if a record is in the index and then you could call or write for a copy.
