    3. Bonnie: This may be what you're looking for; to wit: NEPTUNE; Sloop; 23tons; 37.6x13.4x5.6. Built 1805 'possibly' in Mystic by the master carpenter Silas Fish. She is listed as being built in Groton, but Elisha Baker, Robert Denison & Manasseh Miner, all of Stonington & Mystic were her owners. Elisha Baker Jr was master in 1805, followed by Johnathan Niles in 1809 & Benjamin Burrows in 1811-1815. She was a "Coasting Vessel" until 1811 when she entered the cod fishery. She was lost at sea in 1815. Sorry, but no Amos Baker listed. Your very welcome, BILL -END OF MESSAGE- -------------------------------------------------------------- Bill, does it say anything about Elisha? I also have an Amos, but his name is spelled Anes, Anos, etc. They were in Wickford, R.I., or N. K. 3. Thank you so much. This is not my Elisha Baker, he was CT born, but thank you for taking the time to look. I am also a Denison and Miner descendant, so will try to find a connection there.
