I am researching the family who lived in my house and have run into a roadblock. Specifically, I am trying to learn more about John Mathewson from East Greenwich, who married Charlotte Ellery Newcomb in Oct, 1870, altered his will a week later to include her, then passed away in Jan, 1871. His will was contested by Harriett Mathewson, who I assume was his sister; the courts eventually ruled in Charlotte's favor. I would like to know where and why John passed away, and anything else about his life - like is he related to the family who built the hotel in South County? Also, I am looking for more information on a Robert Edward Annin Jr. I beleive he was from Concord, MA. He married Mary Gallagher in East Greenwich(who grew up there) in 1915. They had 2 children (Robert & Mary also). I want to know more about his death sometime between 1919 and 1926. Where, when & why. His widow moved back to the family house on the Warwick/EG line and became the music director at the Lincoln School.
