Hi there everyone, I have just signed up for the Rhode Island list. I hope that I might be able to find out some things about my gr-grandmother. she was supposed have been born in Rhode Island. On her son's birth record it states Natick, learning through some looking I have found there is no Natick so has been quite a search. I anyone has any direction for me in what to do it would be wonderful. I live in Michigan and won't be traveling out that way to do my own looking, hopefully someday I will be able too. She was supposedly adopted by the parents that raised, but I have ideas that maybe her adoptive father was her birth father too? no proof though. Name was Rose Marie Bushman (adoptive name) or Plouf (family says Plouf was her birthname) b.Aug. 30, 1887 Natick, Rhode Island d. April 4, 1921 Ludington, Mason Co., Michigan Parents that raised her were: Azarie/Alarie Bushman (Bueachiman) b. Aug. 1854 Canada d. Jun 1, 1912 Ludington, Mason Co., Michigan m.Jul 24, 1876 Quebec, Canada to Olive Plouf b. jan. 31, 1853 Quebec, Canada d. April 11, 1914 Ludington, Mason Co., Michigan Rose Marie was married to an Unknown Lussier sometime between 1900 and 1910. They had a daughter named Armelia. A great aunt of mine thinks Holyoke, Massachusetts is familiar to her? Also, Rose's parent Azarie & Olive immigrated from Canada in 1890 from the 1900 Census. Armelia Rosalie Lussier b. abt. 1907 Rhode Island Rose is in Michigan in 1900 Census and also the 1910 Census. In 1900 she is a Bushman, in the 1910 she is a Lucier and her daughter Armelia is here too. She was remarried to a Charles William Peterson in Ludington, Mason Co., Michigan and when Rose died in 1921 Armelia was sent back "out east" to live with family out there?
