Thank you so much for the information. As far as the children of Ebenezer Force are concerned, this is what I have already: 1. William Chandler Force b. l793 Pomfret, mar. to Mary Ann Morse first wife. 2. Chandler W. Force - no birthdate,b/place, but supposedly married to a Betsy W.(?) the latter dying July 16, 1881 (age 81) which means she was born l800. I am confused that Nos. l and 2 have the same names but reversed. Maybe they are one and the same???? This could be an error in the notification where the register reversed the names. This must be Betsy W. Cody(or Cady) above. 3. Elisha Force July 31, 1783 - prob. Pomfret 4. Ebenezer Force Nov.ll, 1786 - prob. Pomfret 5. George Force Jan.25, 1797 - unsure of b/p I do not know if there are anymore children or not. No.l appears is our direct line. The children of No.l and Morse wife were all born in Wrentham, Mass. so perhaps Mary Ann came from there. I will re-check that. NO. l's second wife was Betsy W. Cody (or Cady) whom he married May 25, 1845 in Providence , so sounds like these two were one and same.
