Greetings, I apologize for the intrusion but I'm wondering if anyone on the list might have a copy of Maureen Taylor's book "Rhode Island passenger lists : port of Providence, 1798-1808, 1820-1872; ports of Bristol and Warren" and would be willing to do a brief look-up on my behalf. I'm hoping to find out if there is mention of my ancestors Carl (or Charles) Becker and Marie Eva Beier (both born in Baden about 1825) who emigrated to the US in probably the earlier 1850s. I've scoured relevant records (census, birth [of their children], death, cemetery) and have yet to find any mention of what town in Baden they came from and without that information it is very difficult to trace their ancestry. Carl and Marie Becker resided in Providence in the 1850s and later relocated to Attleborough, Massachusetts. I don't know which port they might have arrived in but it seems reasonable to check the Rhode Island ports. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide. Best regards, Kenneth
