My brick wall is John Field(s) ----------------- FYI on the NC GENWEB page for Greene county, there is a researcher listed for the FIELDS surname LamarFields@worldnet.att.net
Thanks, we've all ready compared notes... as I have with dozens of other people. Lamar descends from another Fields line. There are two, possibly three brick walls on the Fields name in Greene County, my John Fields, a Jeremiah Fields, possibly a brother of John and another John Fields believed to be the father of Brittle Fields of Greene County, NC. See the article at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~paday/dobbers/fields_intro.html Its a big mess! Thanks anyway!
