Hi Ron, Yes, we have communicated before, but I don't think we've identified exactly how we're cousins. We've got a lot of common ancestors as I recall. Don't you have a slew of Giffords in your tree as well as Cooks? And yes, the Clayton Library has a copy of the Thomas Cook volumes, so when you're visiting your daughter, you can look at them yourself. They are housed in the old Clayton House along with all of the other family histories, not in the newer library building. I do have Elizabeth Anthony and Francis Brayton in my tree, but they're not in my direct line. Her father, David Anthony, was older brother to my 6g-grandfather, Joseph Anthony. I'm not sure, without my handy Legacy relationship calculator, what that makes our relationship, though! Judy
