    3. Hi Jack No, he didn't make it to the 1820 Census. There is a David, born in West Greenwich, who is also listed in the 1860 Census, born in Tiverton, age 69, born abt 1791. Possible son. My Elizabeth Weaver m Benjamin Bennett, 29 Oct 1734. Have not been able to document their children, but the time frame is about right and they married in EG. Thus my interest. Bonnie

    3. Thomas Bennett of Newport came over to East Greenwich during the siege of Newport. Thomas's wife was Lydia Guarzia daughter of John. Amongst his children was a son Benjamin - who i believe was still living in 1827 at EG. He also had a son William who married Cyrene William - they lived in Old Warwick. Since the names William and Benjamin repeat at EG in a previous generation i had thought that Benjamin who m. Eliz Weaver might be the father of this Thomas. or he is his brother. We do know that William Bennett who m. Jane Sweet 1723 at Warwick - EG he had sons Benjamin, William and Thomas. The aforemtioned William Bennett is probably the William who married Renewed Wood in 1741 at EG - and is probably the William who appears inthe 1777 Mil census at Warwickover 60+. as opposed to the William Bennett over 60+ at Cranston who is more then likely the one who married Hannah Capwell in 1734. The Bennetts of Stonington and the Bennetts of Middleboro,Mass i do think are able to be kept separate from the Warwick ones. The Newport Bennetts i think never comingled with he EG and Warwick ones. jack Jack Scott ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bonnie Weber" <bonnie.travel@sympatico.ca> To: <RIGENWEB-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, May 27, 2006 10:07 AM Subject: Re: [RIGENWEB] Weaver Bennett - Cranston - Johnston - W.
