    3. Bonnie, I am a member of the AMREV-HESSIANS-L@rootsweb.com mailing list. It is a very active list dealing with all aspects of Hessian life. There is a companion website at http://www.americanrevolution.org/hessindex.html It is very extensive, and is the work of many researchers. Don't miss the mailing list archives section. Happy hunting! Rev. Joel B. Keith joelk300@tampabay.rr.com HESSIAN: Peter Abel Bonse [BONZEY] (c1750-1820), Saratoga, Saratoga Co., NY to Oxford, Worcester Co., MA, 1778. Through His death and resurrection, Christ has made the grave a portal; For through its gates we enter into the Presence of the Living God. -----Original Message----- From: Bonnie Weber bonnie.travel@sympatico.ca> Sent: Apr 11, 2006 11:54 AM To: RIGENWEB-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [RIGENWEB] Hessians Does any one know of a site that lists the Hessian soldiers that fought for the British? 2. Robin Young
    3. About 3 years ago, on the advice of some listers, we included the Pequot Museum on a swing thru New England. Having now been there myself, I second the motion that it is well worth the visit. It is a very well done museum, far above average. It also has good parking, a nice lunchroom and a good giftshop. It is fully handicapped accessible and air conditioned. Robin

    2. I agree with Elaine Decker: the Mashantucket Pequot Museum at Foxwoods is a must visit for those who have any interest in how native Americans lived. The movie is well done and tells the real story of the Massacre at Mystic. If you like this type of exhibit you will not be disappointed.

    2. On Monday , 3 April after repairing a large stone at Brayton Cem. in Apponaug, R.I. Another volunteer and I uncovered a horizontal slab stone for Minnie H. Gardner 1873 - 1967 "Mother". This stone was not found for the Sterling book and she is not listed in the GenWeb Cemetery Project. However a new stone was placed nearby by a family member but bears the dates 1872 - 1966. The original stone has been cleared of grass and sod. Dave Matteson
