    3. Hi Susan, I am not descended from either family that I know of, but if you have not checked out common sources such as Arnold's Vital Records or Beaman's New Series, RI Vital Records, those would be good places to start. If you live nearby, a visit to the Foster town hall would probably be very helpful, depending on how far back you have the lines. Also, the RI Historical Society library on Hope St in Providence is a wonderful resource if you live in this area. This board is also very helpful. If you can give specific names and dates, some of the other listers may be able to help you locate other sources of information. Donna in RI ---- "Norden wrote: > Hi > Fist timer here. 2. I too traveled to Lowell Ma and surrounding towns. I had traced my Tyler line down through Mendon, MA. and Preston, CT. Was told by Ruth Ann Sherman that it was wrong. 3. I believe Reverend George was the son of Captain George Kennedy all from Foster. Although I did find a note in a family bible about William Tyler son of Job and Mary Tyler from Andover Mass. Another note I was able to make out was the name Rosanna Tyler who died 1832 was married to Tom Parker who died 1814. He was a revolutionary soldier. 3. Hi Bob, I did a little search, and the Raynor name, was in Long Island, and New England in 1678. I found a will that of Joseph Raynor. Then I found 2 other wills in NY, at later dates. Could not find a birth for a Raynor in RI, exept for John in 1848 as a member in Pawcatuck.
