Thought I better let you know that I'm receiving one of everything just fine. On another note, how's the dredging of the moat coming along and the arrow slits in the blockade fence? I have researched my Mother's line quite a bit for the past 5 years. I'm told she is a descendant of Roger Williams. What I do know is that my Grandfather, Raymond Williams (1912-1996), grew up in Spragueville and attended Burrillville HS, where he was a standout athlete. His father (my GGF), Charles Edwin Williams (1884-1944) owned a grocery store in Smithfield (Greenville); Charles had a brother Prescott Jackson Williams whose descendants still live in Spragueville. Charles married Amelia Dio; the Dio's also lived in Smithfield, RI but are originally from Tolland, CT and Fitchburg, MA. Charles' father (my GGGF), Andrew Jackson Williams (1858-1934) also lived in Greenville and is buried in Chepachet (Acotes Hill Cemetery); Andrew's wife is a Baker (Mary Ann Baker 1861-1943) born in Woonsocket and buried in Chepachet as well. Andrew's father (my GGGGF), Edwin Palmer Williams (1833-1906), was born in Olneyville and is buried in Greenville Cemetery. Edwin married Nancy Smith (1827-1900, daughter of Thomas Smith and Sarah Chilson). Lastly, Edwin's father (my GGGGGF), Cyrus Williams (1795-1874), was a Free Will Baptist Deacon and fairly prominent in the Old Smithfield society - Cyrus named his sons after Free Will Baptist Ministers (Zalmon Toby Williams and Cyrus Duraldia Williams); they're all buried behind a farm house on Old Mann School Rd right where it meets the Conner's Farm neighborhood. Unfortunately, I am stuck at Cyrus. I am interested in connecting with anyone who has knowledge/interest in the names/people referenced above. Mike Duquette

I'm here in hot, ole Wichita, KS. I've been laid up from puling the muscles on my right side. This is the side with the knee implant and it is still painful. Lortab and I don't get along too well and I've had a reaction to that. Finally got my AC to working well, so it's better to stay inside and read Don D'Amato's novel as presented on www.warwickonline.com. I read a chapter every day and enjoy it. Same here Don. We have had 26 days of 110 degree heat and counting. The record for the number of days in a year to reach at least 110 is 28. We shall set a record in two days and the chances are very good as the forecast is for above-average temperatures for the coming week. Getting back in your car after grocery shopping or any errand is a painful experience. Best to stay at home with AC. Claire

Claire, You must live in the Phoenix valley. I heard on the news this morning we were about to break the record. Nice to know there are other RI transplants here.
