Hi Ronny, I read your email about the Riddle gathering and just wondered if this is for all Riddles or just a particular branch? My mother's branch of the Riddle family are from Virginia and although I wouldn't be able to attend the gathering I would like to know if there is a way to post names say, of another branch in hopes some one can make a connection. I have been researching for about five years, lots of hours on the computer, sent lots of letters and have had the services of three different genealogists, about to hire another, but I'm still not much further along than I was when I started. >From info I had from family, we had the name wrong for my ggrandfather we had John Robert and it was James Robert, actually that's a big thing of course, but that is also about the most help I had from the genealogist as she said this family was the most elusive one she had ever researched. I bought the Ridlon book about the Riddle family, no help there. I have the book of papers written by Nettie Benson (I think that's right) on order. Kinda at a stand-still now.
