Hi Russ, I really do not have a clue at this point. I have never found a record that gives the wife's name of Col. James Roberts. I think I once found an Elizabeth Roberts, widow, in the Surry Co., NC area who could have been his wife. However, we still are not sure about the Rogers - Roberts relationship, so we just have to keep looking.
