You say you list him under 1-2-1-2-4. Thought I would pass along some findings. In the 1860 Cumberland Co., KY Census #398 RIDDLE, Josephus, 19, m, KY RIDDLE, Elizabeth, 20, f, KY This couple appears to have been counted twice in the census!! 1860 Clinton Co., KY #522 RIDDLE, William, 30 m, farmer, KY; Mariah, 30 f, housework, KY; Martha S., 6 f, KY; Nancy, 4 f, KY; William D., 3 m, KY; John W, 1/12 m, KY; Josefus B., 19 m, farmer, KY; Elizabeth, 20 f, housework It looks like William RIDDLE and Josephus B. RIDDLE are brothers. Below is 9 year old Joseph and 21 year old William in their fathers household. 1850 Census of Clinton Co., KY RIDDLE, Davis, 49, Martha, 47, William, 21, Isaac, 19, Lucy, 16, Nancy, 14 James, 12, Martha, 11, Josephus, 9, Lucy, 7,George, 4. Also, in "Cumberland Co., Marriages of Kentucky 1800-1900" by Kenneth C. WILLIAMS I found this: "RIDDLE, Joseph, Clinton Co., and C. Elizabeth--December 1859. So Josephus is Joseph B.
