Hi Vic, I too am researching Riddle's of VA, a Lewis Riddle b 1778 in Va. There are several of us researching this line, but can't find anything on him in VA. other than his marriage. Caroline Co., VA, marriage records 1795-1853 records on page 2, a marriage bond issued 24 Feb 1803 , husband Lewis Riddle, wife Elizabeth Barbee, security and witnesses Thomas Riddle, Elijah Barbee and Bereman King. From 1807 through 1816 Lewis Riddle was in Bourbon Co., Ky. then to Bath Co., by 1817. This information from Terri Pettitt who has done extensive work on this line. Could this be your Thomas Riddle?
