Rodney, I have Moses Riddle in Garrard Co., KY in 1800. Also in Garrard Co., KY was Edmund Smith. Edmund Smith was next to Moses Riddle on the 1767 tax list of Pittsyvania Co., Va and when Moses Riddle put in an entry for land in 1768. Edmund Smith sold land in Lee Co., VA in about 1798 to John Ely and it says "Edmund Smith of Garrard Co., KY." There are many others in Garrard Co., KY who associated with the Riddle family: Several Smith's, Joshua and Nathan Nichols, Isaac Ingram, several Herd's, several Davis's (James Riddle married Sarah Davis), several Brown's, several Anderson's, Perkins, Patterson, Rice, Thompson, Wallin, Yokum. I am interested in ties to Rockingham Co., KY because a Haley from Rockingham Co., KY married a Nancy Riddle which their biographer thought was Nancy Riddle, dau. of Isaac William Riddle of Boone Co., KY. That is wrong however, because Isaac's Nancy married Levi Webster and stayed in Boone Co., KY the rest of her life. So, I wonder who the Nancy Riddle was that married the Haley?
