Mary: Moses Riddle and Catherine Hazel have been suggested as the parents of this William Riddle. Other people have named a James Riddle who married Dicey Abney in 1803 in Madison County KY as the parents of William and a brother Robert (b 1812), and that Fames, Dicey, and Dicey's father, William Abney, lived in Estill County until about 1810. Then they all moved to Rockcastle Co by 1820 census. Loretta: What info or ideas do you have on this William's parents? Which Riddle do you descend from -- if I knew, I've forgotten and can't find a printed e-mail with that info?
