Hi Bob, There is no doubt that there were family ties there. The fact that William Riddle (tory)'s son Joseph Riddle married Rhoda Monk, grand daughter of Cornelius Roberts, points that direction. These ties are elusive, and hard to prove. I think some of the info. that has been shared the past few days points to the fact that the families of Roberts, Rogers, Riddle, Lee, Walling, Herd, Monk were closely associated.
