Here's a question for researchers of Isaac and Joseph Riddle (mainly Isaac I guess). Does anyone out there know exactly when Isaac, Anna and most of their children moved from Kentucky to Titus County, Texas? Gaylon, you might be able to find out in the Mt. Pleasant library. I'm sure the Historical Society knows or it is in one of the 'Beginnings of Mt. Pleasant' books. While I am on the subject of early Titus County, when it was still Spanish, one of my ancestors, who's son married Isaac Riddle's granddaughter moved to what is present day Titus County in 1835 or 1836. Does anyone know how I can find out more about him? His name was Robert Andrew Cochran and he was murdered on Swannano Creek about 1845 in a dispute with a man named Wilkenson.
