Hi Robin, I took some time yesterday at the Library and looked up the 1880 Mortality Schedule for Cumberland Co., KY. Frustratingly enough, it does not give the names of the parents, as you had indicated. I am not sure how to figure that out. I did notice that John T. Riddle's parents were both born in KY, but Sarah's and Henry C. Riddle's records say their mother was born in Tenn. and their father was born in KY, so these children were not all of the same parents if the Census taker got it right. I copied some information for Cumberland Co., KY from three records you might be interested in. Please send me your address and I'll mail them to you.
